wolfie and the world bank?!

So Wolfowitz has been nominated to be president of the World Bank.
One op-ed writer ponders the ramifications of this.

But David Brooks of the NY Times seems to have some praise for the fella. And it seems like a few Democrats are okay with this.

But then, a Newsmax story has this quote…

One administration official said his nomination “would have enormous repercussions within the development community.”

Heh.

NHL may use replacement players in 2005-06 season if no deal pans out.

Come on, guys. Cut the crap, decide on a salary cap that works for EVERYONE, cut some teams if you have to (do there REALLY have to be 30 NHL teams?)…just let’s get our (generalized) favourite players back in their rightful uniforms!
