2000+ US troops dead; iraqi constitution approved

With 2000 US troops dead in Iraq, GWB is now using those deaths as a reason to muster up support for the continuing war and occupation.

Meanwhile, the Iraqi death toll is up to anywhere from over 26,000 to over 30,000.

Not One More Death. Not One More Dollar. : Wage Peace : AFSC. Vigils are being organized for tomorrow night to pay tribute to all the deaths from the Iraq war–military and civilian alike.

Speaking of Iraq, the citizens approved their new Constitution.

Polaroid shutting 2 Mass. facilities, laying off 150 workers. Even worse? Their other two plants — one in Mexico, and one in the Netherlands (which produces 600 and Spectra film, as well as SX-70 Blend for Unsaleable) — will shut down later this year. Time to: 1) Start hoarding film; and 2) Make some noise in Fujifilm’s direction.
