iPod nano is out. Which means the colourful iPod minis are no more; and, if you own a mini, methinks you may have a collector’s item on your hands. *nod* If you wanted a mini, eBay will–more likely than not–be your new best friend. That, and pawn shops.

I recently joined the Twitter-esque website Plurk. So far, it’s not bad. The only thing I’m hoping for is a desktop app so one can “plurk” without having to go to the site to do so. *nods* (Of course, for me, an app that would cross-post to Twitter and Pownce would be all sorts o’ awesome. ;))

Polaroid shutting 2 Mass. facilities, laying off 150 workers. Even worse? Their other two plants — one in Mexico, and one in the Netherlands (which produces 600 and Spectra film, as well as SX-70 Blend for Unsaleable) — will shut down later this year. Time to: 1) Start hoarding film; and 2) Make some noise in Fujifilm’s direction.
