Basically, it’s nothing more than a “Support our Troops!” thing. Now, I’m all for supporting the troops. However, the idea of doing something like Rummy’s proposing four years to the day where approximately 3,000 people died–and having another one every year after this one!–is, IMO, absolutely disgusting. I think it’s exploiting those deaths big time.

Not to mention a very atrocious way to try to earn brownie points when opinions of the administration and their actions are sinking faster than a steamboat.

Gah.
