Well, I spent a good number of hours not only upgrading Wordpress here to 2.5; but I also had to upgrade K2 to Release Candidate 5 and reinstall several plugins. Happy, happy, joy, joy. (Now that this madness is over, now I try my hand at updating the style…I want to give my site another overhaul anyway, and the muted colours are starting to drive me crazy. ;))

To make things even more interesting, I had to tweak a plugin I use to crosspost to Livejournal (yes, I still have an account there). Yay again. (I just hope the fix I tried worked.)

So here goes.

    Was it easy to install and use K2? I was considering trying it out, only because I like the rolling archives. I want to use my current theme on my site though. The only thing about my site that is driving me nuts is the archives. lol

    In general, it is. It’s just customizing it that’s a pain sometimes (but it can be done!), and it’s had a few snags with Wordpress 2.5 — mainly with K2’s own sidebar widgets competing with Wordpress’s integrated widgets.

    PS: The best thing would be to download the latest “nightly” fix.
