Not only is it the fall equinox in the northern hemisphere, it’s also OneWebDay. This year’s focus is “online participation in democracy”.

I recently joined the Twitter-esque website Plurk. So far, it’s not bad. The only thing I’m hoping for is a desktop app so one can “plurk” without having to go to the site to do so. *nods* (Of course, for me, an app that would cross-post to Twitter and Pownce would be all sorts o’ awesome. ;))
