The IBM PC turns 25 years old. Back then, $1565 US got you 16 KB of memory and lord knows how much hard drive space. Now? Well, you can get way more for way less (even for a laptop computer!).

I recently joined the Twitter-esque website Plurk. So far, it’s not bad. The only thing I’m hoping for is a desktop app so one can “plurk” without having to go to the site to do so. *nods* (Of course, for me, an app that would cross-post to Twitter and Pownce would be all sorts o’ awesome. ;))
